Our commitment to safety is absolute — it is the foundation of everything we do.
At Direct2, safety is not a checklist — it is a culture. Every flight we operate is planned and executed to the highest standards of general aviation. As pilots ourselves, we understand that there is no acceptable compromise when it comes to the safety of our passengers.
All Direct2 aircraft are maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's approved maintenance schedules and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintenance is carried out by approved engineers and facilities. No aircraft departs without a valid maintenance release.
Our pilots hold the appropriate licences and ratings for each aircraft type and operation. We maintain strict currency requirements that go beyond regulatory minimums, ensuring every flight is conducted by a current, proficient, and well-rested pilot.
Every Direct2 flight begins with a thorough pre-flight assessment covering weather, NOTAMs, aircraft serviceability, fuel planning, and alternates. We do not depart unless all conditions are satisfactory. If conditions are not suitable, we will reschedule — no exceptions.
We operate with a conservative weather policy. All flights are planned with appropriate margins and we continuously monitor conditions en route. If conditions deteriorate unexpectedly, we will divert or hold as necessary. Passenger schedules are never placed above safety.
Direct2 operates in full compliance with all applicable aviation regulations. We maintain open and transparent communication with regulatory authorities and take a proactive approach to safety management.
If you have any questions about our safety standards or procedures, we welcome the conversation. Contact us at fly@direct2.aero.
